The LSHL over time

2021

Post-covid testing season

Due to the restricted ice training for pro players amidst the Covid period, we organized a 5v5 league at Place Bell in Laval. This initiative aims to facilitate pro players in playing and gearing up for the imminent resumption of hockey.

2022

Net set up : 3v3

In 2022, Hockey Etcetera decided to end their pro 3v3 league. They offered us the opportunity to take over, and we seized it, securing sponsors to make it happen. Taking a bold step, we introduced a women's division with pickup games to gauge interest. Our goal: not just reviving the league but creating an inclusive platform. With sponsor support and community enthusiasm, the revamped 3v3 league, now inclusive of a women's division, showcased our commitment to a diverse and passionate hockey community. Excited for the upcoming seasons, we aimed to foster growth and equality in professional hockey.

2023

Bigger, better, stronger

In 2023, with millions of views and widespread media coverage, we decided to propel our 3v3 league to new heights. Responding to the overwhelming demand, we invested in the league by expanding our team, bringing in professionals to enhance streaming services, and overall, refining the league's structure. These strategic moves were geared towards providing a more engaging and professionally managed platform for players and fans alike. The league's success in the media spotlight fueled our commitment to further elevate the overall experience for all stakeholders.
